What type of battery does Skadu have? Is it rechargeable?
Skadu has an in-built rechargeable Lithium-ion battery.
What is the capacity of the battery? How many mAH?
The battery technology is optimized to give you fade-free scrubbing for up to 120 minutes on full charge. It has a 2600 mAH battery.
How fast do the scrubbers rotate (RPM)?
The scrubber rotation speed is 250 ~300 RPM (Dynamic).
Are there different types of scrubbing pads?
There are two types of scrubbing pads:
- Tough scrubbing pads
- Scratch-free scrubbing pads for delicate surfaces
What is the diameter of the scrubbing pads?
The scrubbing pads are 3 cm in diameter and the overall scrubbing surface generates more surface contact than using a regular scrubbing pad.
Do the scrubbing pads have any antimicrobial chemicals on it? I'm using it for an aquarium.
The scrubbing pads are completely chemical-free.
What is the diameter of the handle? I have very small hands and find most "male" tools too large for my hands -- circular saw, etc.

Why are the three scrubbers small in size?
Our scrubbing pads have a combined surface pressure area of 21 cm^2, which is more than the average combined total pressure your fingers put onto a generic scrubbing pad. The small size of the scrubbing pads does not hamper the cleaning, but it does make it more ergonomic and easier on the hands!
Along with Skadu’s proprietary planetary torque distribution technology, the scrubbing effect is multi-folds fast and efficient.
What type of charger is provided with Skadu?
We provide standard USB charging cables with Skadu that can be attached to an adapter that fits the size specifications of the cable
Will there be future attachments? What will they be and will I be charged extra shipping?
We will always keep making new attachments for Skadu!
How many cycles does the battery last?
Battery lasts for 700 full charge cycles.
The battery technology is optimized to give you fade-free scrubbing for up to 90 minutes on a full charge. It has a 2000 mAh battery.
My payment for Skadu has failed. What can I do?
First off, thank you for your support and for your confidence in our products!
We are very sorry to see that our payment system has rejected your payment. If the payment for an order fails for some reason here are some of the things you can try:
The failure of payment could occur most likely due to some temporary issue. So what you can do is just try again a little later, and perhaps use a different payment method.
Try using PayPal
For security reasons and for your safety, we do use high validation requirements for credit cards. If you can use PayPal as your payment method, we highly recommend you opt for that when placing the order. This should help with the security issues that could arise while making an international purchase. You do not need to log in or even have a PayPal account. Please keep in mind to enter the correct shipping address in PayPal before placing a new order.
Use same shipping / billing information
When placing your order, we recommend you make sure that the shipping and billing address matches your card or preferred payment method.
No P.O. boxes
As indicated in our Terms & Conditions, due to courier restrictions and risk of credit card fraud, we do not deliver to P.O. boxes.
Note that your bank may have reserved the payable amount in your bank account in anticipation that the amount will be accepted by us. However, this amount will never be claimed. It will be released by your bank and returned to your account in case of failure in payment. If your records show that money has been debited from your account then please contact your bank to confirm this, and send us the relevant reference number, ID or code.
If there is a need for further investigation in the matter, we will ask you to provide us with the following additional information details:
- Did you access the Hyper Lychee website from a newsletter or external link? If yes, from where?

My VAT number is not working for my checkout. What should I do?
Your VAT number is created in the following manner:
- here are 9 digits in total; and the last digit is the check digit.
- The first digit is based on the type of purchase order, e.g.: 1-3 are customer orders, 5 are companies.
- For companies, it is either 'ES'+letter+8 digits or 'ES'+letter+7 digits+letters.

What payment methods can I use?
We accept all major credit cards as well as PayPal. For more information on payment methods, visit our terms and conditions.
Can I pay with multiple cards?
The only method of payment available at the moment is a one-time payment, with one credit card. We accept all major credit cards as well as PayPal. There is no need to log in if you are using PayPal or have a PayPal account.
How can I receive my invoice?
When placing your order, you will receive an email from firstname.lastname@example.org, titled "Order Confirmation" with an attachment of your invoice. We do not send physical copies of invoices with our shipments for privacy reasons.
Can I pay by invoice or use an instalment payment solution?
At this moment, we do not offer any invoicing or instalment payment solution.
Do you accept cash on delivery payment?
We do not offer cash on delivery as a payment method. All available payment methods will be displayed on the checkout page based on your location and country.
Which currencies are displayed on your website?
The currencies available for transactions are USD, GBP, SEK, EUR, depending on your country and region. Hyper Lychee cannot be responsible for any discrepancies in currency values or conversation rates.
Is my payment information safe?
All transactions are processed directly with secure encryption and strict banking standards, handled by our payment service provider, Stripe. Your credit card details are sent directly to the bank and cannot be read or accessed by any parties other than your bank, nor Hyper Lychee.
I think I was charged more than once for my Skadu order. What do I need to do to remove the duplicate charges?
If you’re seeing duplicate charges on your account, it is likely we encountered an error during the first attempt to charge your account, therefore the other charges failed and will fall off in 3-5 days. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions at email@example.com.
Do you charge Sales Tax on any item?
Hyper Lychee is required by law to collect sales tax on orders shipped to California, New York and Oregon. If you are shipping to any of these states, the appropriate charges will be included in the total. This is displayed on your final order confirmation. We do not charge Sales Tax in any state unless it's applicable.
Do you accept Apple Pay or Amazon Pay?
Hyper Lychee does not accept Amazon Pay or Apple Pay.
Is Hyper Lychee PCI Compliant?
Hyper Lychee is PCI compliant as we partnered with Shopify on processing online payments. Shopify meets all Level 1 PCI requirements. Shopify invested significant time and money to obtain their Level 1 PCI certification and their certification covers our online store and shopping cart.
Do you allow Cashier's Checks or Money Orders?
Hyper Lychee does not accept Cashier's Checks or Money Orders.
All orders ship within 3-5 business days.
All our orders are shipped from our warehouses in Shenzhen. For orders outside of China, there will likely be a Customs Fee upon receiving the goods, depending on your location. For more information about Customs Fees please see here, or contact your local Customs Office.
What are your shipping costs?
- Our shipping cost depends on a number of factors, such as product value, weight and destination. Your final shipping price is presented at checkout.
- If you are placing an order outside China, you will not pay any tax to Hyper Lychee. Instead, you are subjected to pay local taxes and customs fees when your order arrives at customs in your country.
- This fee will be charged regardless of the price of your parcel and we cannot control these charges.
- This may cause a delay to your shipping if not paid straight away.
- Hyper Lychee cannot be responsible for any discrepancies in currency values or conversation rates.

Do you ship to F.P.O./A.P.O./P.O. boxes?
Due to courier restrictions and the risk of credit card fraud, we cannot deliver to F.P.O./A.P.O./P.O. boxes.
Can I use different shipping and billing info?
You can specify different shipping and billing information. If you use a credit card you may have to contact your bank / card provider as well as us to verify your request.
What are your shipping timings? How long will it take to receive my order?
- All orders are shipped from our China warehouse (Shenzhen) within 3-5 business days.
- You will receive a confirmation email, containing your order number and order details with tracking information (the name of the courier company and tracking number) which will tell you your actual shipping and delivery date.

My order is lost, missing or has not arrived. What should I do?
- Don't worry. Many shipments are facing delays recently due to the global pandemic.
- Customs between Europe and North America have been heavily affected. The tracking information with your shipment and delivery details will most likely get updated soon, so please allow for a few extra days before contacting your local shipping courier.
- If you do contact them please make sure to have your tracking info at hand and try to remain calm. We understand the frustration and trouble this may cause and we will do whatever it takes to help out. Don’t worry, you will get your order! Sometimes it just takes a little longer.
- If contacting Hyper Lychee support please state the original order number and the tracking number.

I have received an incorrect item, what should I do now?
If an item received is incorrect, please contact us immediately, or within 14 days of arrival. Please state your order number and provide a picture of the shipping box and order contents. We will review the issue and correct the mistake as quickly as possible.

Can I change my delivery address?
Once the order is confirmed, we will have a very short window to change the delivery address. Please provide us with the following information for your new address as soon as possible:
- First and last name
- Street number and street name
- Floor, apartment number, stair case (if applicable)
- State (if applicable)
- City and zip code
- Phone number.
Once we receive an answer from our warehouse, we will send you an email with the updated information. Once you receive your tracking number, you can contact the local office (we will provide the details on a case to case basis) and ask for an update for your delivery address.
Can I change the delivery address once my order has been shipped?
If you want to change the delivery address and you did not yet receive your order confirmation or tracking information, then please send us a request.
Note: Once your order is confirmed, we are no longer able to change or update your delivery address. In this case we recommend you to cancel and place your order again.

Can I add something or remove an item from my order once it has been confirmed?
Once an order is confirmed, it cannot be modified by removing or adding a new item. The easiest way to change an already confirmed order is to cancel the original order. This will allow you to place a new one for the items you wish to purchase.

If I place several orders, is it possible for you to merge them?
Once your order is confirmed, we cannot modify it by :
- Removing an item
- Adding a new item
- Merging it to another
The easiest way is to cancel the original order, if your order has not been prepared already. This will allow you to place a new one for the items you wish to enjoy.
How can I cancel my order?
- To cancel an order please submit a cancel request as soon as possible.
- If your order has been submitted but not yet shipped, we will send a cancellation request to our warehouse. This request can only be processed if your order has not already been packed. If successful, you will receive confirmation of cancellation with further instructions.
- If you have already received your tracking information, then we will be unable to cancel your order. if this is the case then you have two options:

In order to change your battery you must send us the unit back. Please raise a service request to email@example.com. We do not sell the replacement battery separately. Skadu is sealed using ultrasonic welding to ensure IPX7 rating, which allows it to be waterproof.

What is my warranty period? Can I get an extended warranty?
● Hyper Lychee products come with a 1 (one) year limited warranty for the original owner, starting from the date of the purchase. You can extend your basic warranty by an additional year by purchasing the extension at www.hyperlychee.com/store.
● You need to be able to prove the date of the original purchase with an invoice or a receipt if you require warranty service. Rechargeable batteries come with a 6 (six) month warranty from the date of original purchase.

What is not covered by warranty?
This warranty does not cover:
● Damage from physical abuse such as dropping the unit or impact from hard objects
● Physically damaged connectors
● Broken attachments or physical damage to the gear mechanism
● Damage, deterioration or malfunction resulting from accident, negligence, misuse, abuse, improper installation, operation or failure to follow instructions according to the owner's manual for this product
● Any shipment of the product (claims must be presented to the carrier)
● Repair or attempted repair by anyone other than or approved by Hyper Lychee service provider
● Any unit which has been altered or on which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed
● Normal wear and any periodic maintenance
● Damage due to inappropriate storage
● Deterioration due to perspiration, corrosive atmosphere or other external causes such as extremes in temperature or humidity
● Damages attributable to power line surge or related electrical abnormalities (including phantom power, wrong voltage, etc)
● Damage due to connecting incorrect charging cable to the Skadu
● Damage due to liquid contamination (beyond 5 meters) and / or battery leakage
● Scrubbing consumables deteriorating due to wear and tear
● Damage resulting from any use other than that it was intended for
● Product purchased as ex-demo, refurbished stock or second hand
● Any aesthetic alterations due to normal usage or ageing
If you have purchased your unit through an unauthorised reseller, from e-commerce platforms such as eBay, Amazon, Reverb, there is a risk of receiving a used or defective product.
What do I do if I receive a damaged or defective product?
● If you have received a damaged or defective product purchased from our website, please lodge your complaint to us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible after you have discovered the defect with the subject line starting with "Warranty Claim".
● If you lodge the complaint within two months from discovering the defect, the complaint will always be considered as having been lodged in due time
● You cannot send an item for repair without contacting Hyper Lychee first

If the unit is covered by warranty:

● In the event your unit is not covered by warranty anymore, we will be happy to assist you in getting your unit serviced by one of our repair centres, at a cost.
